Cloud Migration
We execute strategic cloud migrations that modernize legacy systems and databases, enhance mission readiness, and accelerate operational tempo, turning your cloud adoption into a decisive strategic advantage. We perform migrations from on-premesis infrastructure to the cloud, or between cloud providers, to include commercial to Government cloud regions enabling customers to achieve greater agility, scalability, and cost efficiency. We follow a comprehensive migration methodology comprising Analysis, Transition/Migration, and Optimization/Maintenance. In the Analysis phase, we focus on data collection, user adoption, and operational effectiveness to guide decision-making. The Transition/Migration phase develops strategies that prioritize mission needs and assess migration strategies like lift and shift; and lift, transform, shift. For database migrations, we perform physical and logical migrations based on customer requirements. For physical migration, we have expertise using physical storage to migrate data off on-premises databases to the cloud including classified cloud regions. We also perform migrations from proprietary database formats to open source alternatives such as PostgreSQL, offering significant cost savings and reducing vendor lock.
